Review Policy

I pride myself on the quality of my reviews, I like to make sure that my readers are well-informed about the game and have a good understanding of the quality of the game as well as how it plays.

I no longer score our games out of 10. Mainly because what does that actually mean? At the end of the day, it’s just a number and we like to think that the quality of writing within our reviews is enough to give you a good enough insight into whether you would like to purchase the game.

With the variety of games available as well as early access/beta/alpha trials, we may use these in different ways to give our thoughts on a game. However, each will be stated whether it is a review, a review in progress, or just general ramblings about the game which a full review will follow at release.

Please note that any full reviews won’t be launched until the game's full release, or whenever our embargo is that has been provided by the publisher/developer.

Episodic Games – Our reviews for episodic games will be provided upon completion of the full series. This will enable us to get a full insight into the complete story as well as a full overview of the game. We may provide thoughts on an episode-by-episode basis, but the review will not be complete until the series has finished. This is when a full overview will be added.

Early Access/Betas/Alphas – As stated above, we will provide our thoughts on early access games, but a full review will not be launched until the game has left this stage and has been fully released.

There may be instances where it takes us longer to provide you with a review, this is down to wanting to get things just right, so having to add more time to the game may be needed, especially when it comes to MMO’s or other massive games.

I am but a mere mortal, with individual commitments away from this website, combine that with the sheer amount of games that are released, this makes it hard for me to cover everything that I would want, and there are times were we may have to pick one game over another or review another game later than expected. If there is something that you would like me to cover, please don't hesitate to let me know.
